Code P3005 signals a problem with the high voltage fuse in a hybrid or electric vehicle – a critical component protecting the traction battery and inverter from damage. The cause could be a blown fuse, a short circuit in the HV circuit, or a battery module fault. Due to the high operating voltages (200–650 V), diagnosis and repair of this code require a visit to an authorized hybrid service center.
Symptoms
