OBD-II (EN): Lost Communication with Body Control Module/BCM
Code U0370 means the onboard computer has lost connection with the Body Control Module (BCM) via the CAN bus – this can result in failures of many vehicle electrical systems. The most common causes are a damaged wiring harness, corroded connectors, or a fault in the BCM module itself. Due to the complexity of CAN network diagnostics, a professional diagnosis with a factory scanner is recommended.
Symptoms
Unresponsive or improperly operating body systems (lighting, central locking, power windows, HVAC); Check Engine light or other warning lights on the dashboard; random turning on and off of electrical accessories; possible engine start failure or vehicle entering limp mode; error messages on the information display.
