OBD-II (EN): Invalid Data Received From ECM/PCM

Code U0300 indicates detected software incompatibility within one of the vehicle's control modules – most often appears after ECU replacement or update. The problem can cause limp mode and disturbances in many vehicle systems. Due to the need for access to specialized manufacturer software, diagnosis and repair should be carried out by an authorized service center.

Symptoms

Check Engine light on, limp mode, noticeable loss of engine power, improper engine-automatic transmission cooperation, disturbed ABS and ESP operation, other warning lights on the dashboard, incomplete OBD-II monitors, possible vehicle starting problems.

Possible causes
